Review Process

In this video, I guide you through transitioning into review mode after collaboration, emphasizing the importance of understanding the total scores inputted. I explain how toggling scores visibility fosters meaningful discussions on our initial inputs and the significance of various metrics like flow time and efficiency.

The review process for value stream scoring in nVeris is designed to ensure transparency and facilitate productive discussions around the scores inputted by team members. By toggling the visibility of scores, teams can engage in meaningful conversations about the rationale behind the numbers, which drives deeper insights into the value stream’s performance.

Once the collaboration and scoring process is complete, facilitators transition into the review phase where all inputted scores are revealed. The ability to toggle the visibility of scores after they have been hidden encourages open discussions, enabling teams to clarify discrepancies and align on the reasoning behind specific inputs.

During the review process, key performance metrics such as flow time, wait time, processing time, flow efficiency, and the percentage of completed and accurate steps are analyzed. For example, in a given value stream, the expected flow time may be 27.4 minutes, while the actual flow time could be 18.7 minutes, with a wait time of 11 minutes and a processing time of 7.7 minutes. These insights help teams identify areas for improvement. Hovering over these metrics provides further explanations, ensuring clarity and alignment in the review.

This structured review process ensures full understanding of the data, fosters discussions on inefficiencies, and drives continuous improvement. With enhanced visibility into performance metrics, teams are equipped to make data-driven decisions for optimizing their value streams.
